Note on earnings: Any specific payment figures that appeared in an earlier version of this post have been removed because they could not be verified and because rates change. Results vary widely depending on availability, eligibility, location, and the time you spend, and many people earn little or nothing from survey sites. No payment, rate, or monthly income is guaranteed. The rate mentioned in the post title is a site-listed rate, not a promise of what you will earn.
Introduction
Hi there, guys! Welcome back to another guide on money-making survey sites. If you are new here, my name is Priscilla, and I share various apps and websites that can help you make money online. I test them, then I report them here. Today I am going to tell you about the three survey sites that I feel have paid me the most. They are easy to use, and results vary from person to person.
The three survey sites I am going to discuss, I have personally been compensated by them. Number two on the list is my favorite, and the third one is one that some users report as higher paying. Your experience may differ.
#1 Survey Time
Number one on the list is a website that also offers an app, which rewards users for completing surveys. Payment per survey varies, and not every survey pays the same amount. Check the site’s current terms before you start, as rates and availability can change, and payment is not guaranteed for every attempt.
How Survey Time Works
The survey site is called Survey Time, and it describes itself as a site that rewards you for completing surveys. Rewards are given according to the site’s terms, and timing and eligibility can vary.
The process is as simple as it can be:
- You sign up for Survey Time for free
- Tell us about yourself by taking a short introductory survey
- Start completing surveys – for each survey you complete, you may receive a reward as described in the site’s terms
The Introductory Survey Process
Number two on the process is that you have to do an introductory survey. An introductory survey helps the site match you with surveys you may qualify for. It does not guarantee that you will qualify for later surveys.
Payment Options
When it comes to withdrawing from the survey site, they give you options such as:
- PayPal
- Amazon gift card
- BTC (Bitcoin)
Available payment options and any minimum withdrawal can change, so check the site’s current terms.
#2, Ysense – My Personal Favorite (Most Versatile)
Number two on the list is the website that I have been talking about and recommending, and this website is my personal favorite because it offers several different ways to earn small rewards. Results vary, and nothing here is guaranteed.
What Makes Ysense Special
The website I am talking about is called Ysense. Ysense is a global online community where members can share opinions and complete tasks.
How does it work?
Paid Surveys: Get paid surveys and cash for taking free paid surveys while influencing products and services.
Cash Offers: Get paid for trying new products and services, downloading apps, signing up for websites, and more, subject to each offer’s terms.
Referrals: Share Ysense with your friends. Any referral reward depends on the program’s current terms and on whether the referral actually qualifies, so check those terms before relying on it.
Why Ysense is My Favorite
This website has several ways to earn small rewards, and it is one where you may find more surveys to attempt than on some other sites. That does not mean you will qualify for every survey, and it does not guarantee any amount of earnings.
Inside the Ysense Platform
Inside Ysense, you can see surveys, offers, play, affiliate, cash out, forum, and more. Offer rewards vary widely, and some offers require a purchase, subscription, or other action, so read each offer’s terms carefully before starting it.
Earning Potential
Payment per survey on different sites varies, and no single rate should be treated as typical. On Survey Time, the number of surveys available each day varies, and on Ysense, the number you qualify for also varies from day to day. Completing several surveys in a day does not guarantee a particular daily total, and some days you may qualify for few or none.
Multiple Payment Options
With withdrawing, you have several options to withdraw your money:
- PayPal
- Euro (you can withdraw euro but then you have to convert it to dollars)
- ATM
- Amazon gift cards
- Payoneer
- Reward Link
- Payoneer (works well and is good for people who are struggling with PayPal or connecting their bank account)
Available payment options and any minimum withdrawal can change, so check the site’s current terms.
#3 Prolific – A Higher-Paying Option Some Users Report
Now let us go to a survey site that some users report as higher paying, and it is none other than Prolific. It is not the right fit for everyone, and getting accepted can take time.
What is Prolific?
Prolific is a website that says “find participants and AI taskers” and “get paid to participate.” Researchers use it to find people for studies and tasks.
How You Make Money on Prolific
How you make money is by taking the studies or the surveys. They say, “get paid to change the world” and “get paid to participate in research.”
Key Features:
- Prolific lists an hourly rate for tasks; check its current published rate, as rates and availability can change, and actual earnings depend on which tasks you are offered and complete
- They reward you with real money, subject to their terms
- Track your progress with a clear view of your earnings and submissions
- Tasks are published regularly, but availability varies and is not guaranteed
- All tasks you receive are tailored to you and are completely voluntary
- Exit anytime for any reason
The Registration Process
What you have to do to earn:
- Sign up – join the waiting list
- We will invite you as soon as possible
- Accept your invite once tasks are available
- Get verified – verify your identity and complete a short practice task
The Waiting List Reality
Once you register on Prolific, you are going to get on the waiting list. Please be patient with the waiting list, as waiting times vary and can be long, and joining the list does not guarantee acceptance or tasks.
Why Some Users Report Prolific as Higher Paying
Payments on Prolific vary by task length and type, and they are paid in pounds, which you may need to convert. Some tasks pay more than typical survey sites, but that does not mean every task will, and task availability is limited.
Payment Examples
Payment for individual tasks varies by length and type, so no single past payment should be treated as typical. Check the payment shown for each task before you start it.
My Honest Experience with Prolific
I have not done this survey site for the longest time – it is mainly because sometimes I forget it is there, and sometimes there are no tasks available for me. That is normal for survey sites: availability comes and goes.
Pro Tips for Success on Survey Sites
Now I am going to tell you the tips on how to successfully use these sites, especially Survey Time, Ysense, and Prolific. These tips may improve your chances of qualifying, but they do not guarantee earnings.
For Prolific Success
I have already told you about Prolific – you have to be patient when you are waiting for that email, and you have to check regularly once you are accepted, as tasks are limited.
For Survey Time and Ysense Success
With Survey Time and Ysense, you have to keep your profile information consistent and honest.
- Do not switch up your information – your profile has to be the same all the time
- Give honest answers – do not present yourself as something you are not, as that can lead to disqualification or account problems
- You may get the opportunity to qualify for more surveys, but qualification is never guaranteed
Final Qualifying Tips
A lot of people have said that they are struggling to do surveys because they get disqualified a lot. Disqualification is common on survey sites, and it happens because a study needs a specific group of people. It does not mean the site owes you payment for a survey you did not complete.
Conclusion
These three survey sites have personally paid me rewards, and I have tested many platforms over the years. While Survey Time offers rewards for completed surveys, Ysense provides several ways to attempt surveys and offers, and Prolific offers tasks that some users report as higher paying, though with a waiting list. Your results will vary.
Remember, success with survey sites comes down to:
- Patience (especially with Prolific)
- Consistent and honest profile information
- Persistence in applying and qualifying
Take your time to explore these sites, read their current terms, and treat survey earnings as small, variable side income at best, not as a guaranteed monthly income.
